Created in 1979, The
American Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Panama
(AMCHAM) is a non-profit, non-political,
independent organization of business people with the
collective goal of promoting business in Panama. Specifically,
the organization supports trade, commerce and investment
between the US and Panama. AMCHAM works closely with
governments of both the US and Panama to maintain friendly
relations and mutually-beneficial business arrangements.
AMCHAM is also heavily involved in charitable activities,
business ethics development, and pursuing the betterment
of all Panamanians.
